5 Foods to Eliminate for Fast and Sustainable Weight Loss
(AND What to Eat Instead)
About Kathryn
I’m Kathryn Thach. My journey in discovering the foods that love you back started with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in nutrition, 1200 hours of clinical training, 5 years of clinical experience, 8+ years coaching clients in private practice and an Advanced Practice Credential in Integrative and Functional Nutrition (IFNCP).
As founder of Kathryn Thach Nutrition Consulting, I strive to help my clients identify the root cause of their health issues. I specialize in anti-inflammatory nutrition, healthy weight management, blood glucose control, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular health. I also offer GI-MAP testing which allows me to personalize gut healing protocols that optimize overall health.
Outside of work, I am a wife and mom to two amazing kids and a highly excitable German Shepherd. I love food and I love making healthy food taste a-ma-zing! In the time that I carve out for myself, you can find me walking my dog through Ann Arbor, practicing yoga, or testing out a new recipe.
My passion is helping others find their path to wellness and freedom from their struggles with food. I offer virtual and in-person coaching at this time. For nutrition counseling package information, email me at [email protected]. I can design a package that works for you!

I’m Kathryn Thach. My journey in discovering the foods that love you back started with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in nutrition, 1200 hours of clinical training, 5 years of clinical experience and an additional 6+ years coaching clients in private practice.

My Philosophy
A healthy lifestyle involves so much more than subscribing to a healthy meal plan and counting points. So many people are relying on willpower or white knuckling it to follow their “diet prescription”. When you work with me, we will look at all aspects of your lifestyle -sleep, movement, how you think about food, self-care, and how you handle physical and emotional stress. I will help you uncover unhelpful habits and replace them with habits that will help you achieve and maintain optimal health and weight. I want to help you love your relationship with food, not struggle with stress around eating and your weight.
